Indonesian Journal of Politics and Area Studies

The Indonesian Journal of Politics and Area Studies (IJPAS) is semi-annual international journal managed by the Department of Political Science, Universitas Brawijaya. Established to publish the results of empirical research or ideas about politics related to area studies. It is an intersection between the study of politics as a discipline and the explanation and understanding of the region as a geographical, cultural, social and strategic entity. Contributions are expected to come from a wide range of theories, approaches, paradigms and methodologies in political science, international relations and area studies from around the world. It does not rule out the possibility of an influx of debates from another social science and humanities disciplines that provide new insights, explanations and understandings intended to answer important questions of politics. IJPAS does not represent any particular scientific tradition and become an open space for all contributions to be made. However, it strongly recommends that the research conducted not take research objects that are too narrow, micro, local and only oriented to case studies.

We accept submission from all over the world. All submitted articles shall never been published elsewhere, original and not under consideration for other publication.
